BUCKS COUNTY WEDDING | PENNSYLVANIA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I first met Maddie in elementary school, and like most childhood friends as we grew up life pulled us in different directions. But then she asked me to photograph her wedding.
Leading up to the wedding, I thought to myself how cool it would it be to tell our younger selves that we wouldn’t always be playing during recess or having sleepovers on the weekends; but that we would grow up, wouldn’t see each other for almost a decade between high school and her wedding day, and then would reconnect on one of the most important days of her life.
And it was beautiful. Seeing her and many others from my hometown and childhood on the wedding day was the absolute best. An oddly fun experience to reunite with the same people I used to sit in class with and see the unique individuals they had grown to become. Some of them turned out just as I had imagined, and others different than I originally pictured, but making perfect sense in hindsight.
Bucks County Wedding
Anyways, on the morning of the wedding there was a forecast of rain almost up until the moment the ceremony began, and the couple wanted to have it outside… They decided to take the risk and keep it that way. As the guests started arriving, the rain ceased and the procession started. As a result of the rain, the wooded backdrop in Bucks County was absolutely stunning because the fall foliage almost projected their vibrant colors back to us with the reflection of the sun. And although there may have been some soggy shoes that day, it was perfect nonetheless.
